The Table - Workshop Sept 19-20
THE TABLE
A 2-Day Working Dog & Decoy Workshop
September 19–20, 2026
The table is more than just a piece of equipment—it's one of the most effective environments we use to teach dogs, build confidence, develop grips, improve targeting, and better understand the dog in front of us.
Over the course of two days, we'll break down how we use the bite table with dogs ranging from young puppies to advanced adult working dogs. This workshop isn't about teaching one specific system or running every dog through the same routine. It's about understanding the individual dog in front of you and knowing how to adapt your training to bring out the best in that dog.
Whether you're looking to build confidence in a young dog, improve grips and targeting, create more intensity, or work through training problems, we'll show you how we approach each session and, more importantly, why we make the decisions we do.
Every dog is different, and throughout the weekend you'll see how our techniques change based on the dog's temperament, confidence, drives, experience level, and overall understanding.
For trainers and decoys, this workshop is an opportunity to develop a better eye for reading dogs, understanding behavior, recognizing subtle changes in confidence and drive, and learning how to make better training decisions throughout a session. The focus isn't on catching dogs—it's on understanding the training process and developing the skills to help dogs progress.
